Dropshipping Frequently Asked Questions:

[THREAD]
“How much money do I need to start?”

I recommend at least $500. Can be done with much less but the more you have for ads, the better.

“General, One Product, or Niche store?”

I recommend a niche store or one product store. Upsells within the same niche work incredibly well.
“Can I dropship from anywhere in the world?”

Absolutely. I have talked to people and helped people from all parts of the world. Canada, Australia, United States, Africa, United Kingdom, etc.
“What does a good product look like?”

My Dropshipping Product Criteria:

Required:
- 500-5000 orders on Aliexpress
- 4.5+⭐️ reviews on Aliexpress
- Responsive supplier
- Product is within a niche

Fits at least one:
- Unique
- WOW factor
- Solves a problem
- Makes a great gift
“What about Shipping times?”

As long as you’re upfront with customers regarding shipping times, most will still purchase.

I am seeing about 7-11 days with my products right now.

Just don’t promise 3 day shipping and they get their product in two weeks.
“Should I use a paid theme for my store?”

No. Start with a free theme like Debut.

If you find that your product is working and you’re generating thousands, then go for a paid theme like Turbo or Motion.
“How do I get traffic to my website and customers that will purchase?”

You drive traffic to your website through advertising on social media.

Facebook Ads, Google Ads, Instagram Influencers/meme pages, Youtube influencers, TikTok influencers, etc.
“What Shopify apps do you recommend I get?”

The apps I recommend are Loox, Oberlo, Klaviyo and SMSBump.

“Should I have PayPal on my store?”

Not necessary, but I have found that it helps increase my conversion rate. Customers trust PayPal.
“How do I know when to move on to a different product?”

If you have given your product an honest effort for 2-3 weeks and it is still not profitable, move on. Especially if you’ve tested multiple interests, ad creatives, pricing, etc.
What metrics should I be looking at in my Facebook Ads?

ROAS.

If your ROAS is above your break even roas, that means you’re profitable. If its under your break even roas, you’re not profitable.

Everyone gets caught up in other metrics that dont matter as long as ROAS is good.
How should I structure my product description?

- Paragraph explaining the product
- GIF/Lifestyle image
- Bulletpoints for features/benefits
- Reviews
