If you have to hide your political or religious views from your & #39;friends& #39; in order to maintain your friendships, then I question how solid your friendships actually are.
It& #39;s weird how many people say they& #39;ve lost & #39;friends& #39; they had for decades, because of a basic difference in opinion. Or for voting differently.

I don& #39;t get it. Were you just talking about the weather and TV for decades?

How can your & #39;best friend& #39; not know your beliefs? https://abs.twimg.com/emoji/v2/... draggable="false" alt="🤷🏿‍♂️" title="Achselzuckender Mann (dunkler Hautton)" aria-label="Emoji: Achselzuckender Mann (dunkler Hautton)">
There are certainly more things to talk about than politics and religion, but I don& #39;t know how one can dodge these topics entirely for years on end, unless you keep conversations VERY superficial.

I& #39;ve never lost a friend over politics or religion. God forbid.

Pick them wisely.
