now having read the whole thing this makes me really excited. i wasn& #39;t too familiar with the way academy/amateur worked before this but the format laid out in the article makes me hopeful that there will be many opportunities for talent to be noticed and rewarded :)

this is how NA becomes internationally competitive we need to support the amateur scene and establish a pipeline where talented amateur players can be drafted for spots on Academy and LCS rosters. although it& #39;s important that these new pick ups aren& #39;t just tossed aside when

an org picks up a new star EU or KR player. it will be difficult for amateurs to compete with the well established careers of a player an org might want to import so i hope NA orgs will decide to take a chance on NA talent instead of going all in on imports
