Here's how you can actually help someone whose loved ones are Covid-Positive
My parents tested positive last month, trust me, these might help 👇
#Covid_19
DON'T : ❌
Send them a long list of numbers with
resources that you saw on social media

DO : ✅
Call up numbers yourself after getting the required details and pass on only solid information
DON'T : ❌
Give them unverified medical advice that you may have read online

DO : ✅
Encourage them to speak to their doctor, and offer to speak to their doctor yourself if needed
DON'T : ❌
Rush over to meet them physically to be able to help out

DO : ✅
Ask them what errands you can run for them while maintaining social distancing and safety protocols
DON'T : ❌
Panic while speaking to them or add to their emotional burden with your fear or worries. Avoid sending videos of dying covid patients via social media

DO : ✅
Keep a track of your own mental health and speak to others or seek help if needed.
We all want to help our loved ones in
any way we can, but we must do so in
a way that is comforting to them and
actually makes their lives easier.
