A thread about all the artists who could've dropped an album on Aftermath Entertainment.
King T. One of the first signees to Aftermath. He was on Dr. Dre presents the Aftermath. His album Thy Kingdom Come was shelved in 1998 after a 3.5 mic rating in The Source although it had potential to be a West Coast classic. He went on to appear on 2001 and sign to Ruthless.
Dawn Robinson of En Vogue. She parted ways with En Vogue for a solo career at Aftermath. Music was recorded but Dre was putting her career on the back burner. She left to form Lucy Pearl with Raphael Saadiq and Ali Shaheed Muhammad.
Group Therapy. Supergroup of B Real, KRS One, RBX, Nas and Scarface. They all had separate careers so the only track they collab'd for was East Coast West Coast Killas. Nothing happened.
Sharief aka Killa Ben. He made a few songs on Aftermath compilation in 1996 and appeared on a track on King T's shelved album. Nothing happened and he went back to Pittsburgh recording mixtapes under Killa Ben. Shit's hard and extremely hard to find.
Gunz Click. This crew was promoted during King T's appearance on Rap City. There is a rare bootlegged ablum with tracks recorded around 1998 produced by Dr. Dre and Just Blaze. Nothing happened once again. Main members Sonny Gunz remains tight with King T and Chris Glove Taylor.
Other artists from Aftermath compilation: Nowl, Hands On, Maurice Wilcher, Jheryl Lockhart, RC, Whoz Who, Sid McCoy, Kim Summerson

No album no other material but vaulted material
Last Emperor
He recorded an album that went unreleased called The Legend of Bigfoot which can be found online as well as a few Chronic 2001 outtakes like Airwave Terrorists. He later signed with Rawkus for a career.
Hittman @HITTMANsince87
He's told me a lot about his storied career. Played an integral role with Mel and Dre in Chronic 2001. Recorded a lot of material for solo debut which he later used for the classic compilation Hittmanic Verses. Left due to creative differences with Dre
Eve formerly Eve of Destruction

She appeared in Been There Done That and was writing constantly for Dre after she flew out for his camp. Recorded multiple tracks some that leaked but eventually found a home at Ruff Ryders. Re-signed again in 04 but her album was shelved in 07.
RBX.
He was supposed to drop on Death Row after The Chronic but left and dropped RBX files. He signed to Aftermath very early in 1996. Appeared on East Coast West Coast Killas and Blunt Time (originally Pac track). Guest appearance on Eminem's Remember Me? Later signed to Snoop.
Joe Beast. Appeared on The Wash and 8 Mile bonus soundtrack. Pittsburgh MC with potential. No album ever materialized and he ended up going back to Pittsburgh making mixtapes.
Rakim. The God Mc.

His album Oh My God began sessions in 2000 after he reclaimed his reign with two classic solos. Dre wanted Ra to talk g shit but Ra was like nah. Truth Hurts, 8 Mile appearances. Beats later given to 50 Cent for GRODT and Busta's Big Bang. Rakim left around 03
Raekwon.
Although Rae sometimes disputes it, OB4CL 2 was supposed to go through Aftermath and be executive produced by Busta. Dre produced 2 tracks and was done with the project which came to light in 2009.
Bishop Lamont
Initially hoping to sign to Kanye, he met Dr. Dre at Game's Dreams video shoot and handed him a CD. Bishop went on to sign drop numerous tapes and write hundreds of songs for himself and Detox. He left in 2010 after 5 years with no solo project.
Joell Ortiz
Before Slaughterhouse, Joell was coming up in NY. He dropped The Brick on Koch Records and was promised a deal with Aftermath. Dre was going to put a few records from The Brick on his Aftermath album. Jimmy Iovine felt he was unmarketable. Joell left in 08.
Stat Quo
Stat was offered a deal similar to 50 Cent with Shady/Aftermath. Stat put out a few tapes while on the label, appeared on albums for Young Buck and The Re Up and wrote tirelessly for Detox. Stat left in 2008 releasing multiple tapes and another version of his debut.
G.A.G.E. (now known as 2.0)
Gage was Philly's voice on Aftermath. He signed around 2005 and dropped a few mixtapes and loose tracks around 2006-7 with big co-signs from Andre 3000 and DMX. An album was planned but never released. He now releases music independently.
Dion
He sang on Game's Runnin' track on The Documentary as well Ol' English on Doctor's Advocate. Runnin' was his song and he was Hi Tek's artist who signed to Dre. Nothing materialized and Dion faded out. Hi Tek's label folded so that might have had something to do with that.
The Firm
Due to multiple labels trying to get their hands in the pot the supergroup of Nas, AZ, Foxy and Nature in place of Cormega was deemed a flop although it went platinum. Plans for a second album were scrapped and many tracks were shelved that were classic material.
Slim Da Mobster

He signed on around 2007 and has an Aftermath tat on his back. War Music mixtape dropped in 2011. He wrote 700 songs for Detox. Albums were scrapped called The Movie and S.O.O.N. Dre bailed hi out of prison and he wrote Diary on Compton. He still writes for Dre
Antonio McLendon
He signed around 2003 and worked with Stat Quo. Nothing much has come out around his music because nothing materialized. He made some decent hooks for Stat. He was featured in XXL in 03 with 50 Em and Dre on the cover.
Shaunta
Originally appearing on tracks for LL, Timbaland and Magoo, Chino XL and others, she went solo for a deal at Aftermath. She appeared on The Wash and 8 Mile Soundtrack. Album was supposed to drop in 2002-3. It leaked last year. Pretty dope overall should've popped.
Brooklyn
She appeared on 8 Mile soundtrack and 50 Cent's The New Breed bonus Cd on In the Hood. She was signed and featured in XXL magazine in early 2003 with 50 Em and Dre on the cover. Nothing ever materialized and she faded to the background. Featured on Enough Cryin' by MJB.
Ghetto Metal
In 1996, Dr. Dre talked to MTV about getting a hip hop fusion metal band on Aftermath formed called Ghetto Metal. The idea was intriguing and it is unknown if anything was ever recorded. Obviously nothing came to pass.
Marsha Ambrosius
Marsha left Floetry in the mid 2000s to sign with Dr. Dre for a solo career. She appeared on many hooks for Game, Busta and others. Dre still works with her to this day and her solo album was released independently.
Governor
He originally dropped an album in 2000 & a follow up in 2006 with T.I.s Grand Hustle that went under the radar. He then went to Aftermath and G Unit a few years later. A mixtape was released but no album. Governor signed to G Note and dropped a 2015 project with no buzz
Hayes
Inked to Dre and Timbo in 2009 with a mixtape First 48. Later managed by Mayweather' and dropped features on 50's tapes and indie videos. In 2014 Hayes killed his gf Stephanie Mosley for allegedly cheating on him with Trey Songz and killed himself while facetiming Floyd.
Tiffany Villareal
She had a group deal on Star Trak and a solo deal with Missy. She dropped an album indie in 04 and then signed to Aftermath. She sang hooks and backgrounds for Stat Quo, Baby Bash, Raekwon, and 702. She left Aftermath and was in a relationship with Stat Quo.
Other artist with little to no information on from The Wash soundtrack: Ox, Yero, Daks all had songs on the compilation with no album
It should also be noted that Focus... had a group of artists at his label A. Fam he was trying to get off the ground in the mid to late 2000s before he briefly left Dr. Dre. He wanted to merge A. Fam with Aftermath like Shady and G Unit did. His artists were Kida and Epik.
Kida
He had a lot of potential dropping a slew of mixtapes around the late 2000s and early 2010s all mostly produced by Focus and company. He now is no longer in the industry.
Epik released a few tapes but has faded into obscurity. Not sure if it was meant to be.
Nikki Grier

She had stunning looks on top of her great vocals but nothing materialized. She did a few songs with 50 Cent and a few produced by Dre. She left the label and dropped a few mixtapes with Busta at Conglomerate and later married producer Dready Beatz.
Jon Connor
He signed to Aftermath in 2013 after a mixtape buzz. He appeared on Compton soundtrack and recorded numerous versions of his debut Vehicle City. A buzz track dropped in early 2018 but nothing happened. Connor left and dropped a subpar album SOS in 2020.
Justus
He signed to Dr. Dre in 2015. He wrote many of Dr. Dre's lyrics alongside King Mez on Compton soundtrack and sang on a few songs on the project. Similarities between his style and Drake were a plenty. He currently is not affiliated with Aftermath.
King Mez
He also wrote Dr. Dre's verses on Compton soundtrack and featured on the project. Dre recently shouted him out in 2019 on a Rock the Bells interview with LL Cool J. He is not signed anymore and releases independent music and directed J Cole's Middle Child video.
Truth Hurts
She signed to Aftermath in 2000 and dropped her album Truthfully Speaking in 2002. Due to a sample clearance issue of her smash Addictive with Rakim, the album was pulled and she left the label before things could be worked out.
Stacee Adamz
Having appeared on Bishop Lamont's The Truth mixtape track, Stacee Adamz was also signed to Dr. Dre briefly and recorded some music. He put out some music independently on the West Coast but no albums ever materialized.
The Game
His album The Documentary was almost shelved by Jimmy Iovine in 2003-4. Dr. Dre convinced Jimmy to put Game onto the G Unit brand to get the West Coast back and it was a success. Due to the beef between 50 and Game, Game went to Geffen and stood on his own for his career
Ice Cube/NWA

Ice Cube at one point in the early 2000s was signed to Aftermath and nothing came of it. There were talks also of a NWA reunion album Not These N@@@az Again with Snoop replacing Eazy from 2000-2002 but nothing came of it.
So in summation that's around 50 artists I've named on this thread. You can also include from Death Row acts like Lady of Rage (Eargasm), Sam Sneed, J Flexx, Serenade, and Cegi. With more leaking out the vaults, there's bound to be more what if's Dre took from us.
