how bangtan describe aspects to draw inspiration from to find growth in map of the soul and fully completing their travel through their souls as artists: a thread

#WordsByBangtan
in this thread I wanted to dive into what represents the definition of growth for me, one of the most developing and best storytelling series bangtan or anyone has ever released and how much the growth of an artist in his artistry describe the growth of his soul
to me mots is such a grand work of art, its bts pouring their soul in to explore a soul in its entity, what drives it,what hurts it, what makes the soul love & what makes the soul back away from things she desires. All these overcoming of obstacles are describes in their lyrics
and in a way for the soul to finally reach its final form like in ego where it completely accepts itself and realizes it can live in no other way but enamoured and taken over by its art the artist finds true closure even in his fears and losses as well as his success
in this thread I'll put some aspects that I think bts gave us to draw inspiration from so the artist in this story can grow

I. Growth in Questioning

Obviously we cannot start this thread without starting with the crisis the artist goes through at the beginning of the album
“Who am I,” a question that I’ve been asking myself for my whole life, a question that I will probably never be able to find the right answer for" in wanting to research about his soul he finds a desire of wanting to grow, he knows the answer is not as transparent as one
wants it to be but the forming of his question starts his road to development and change. The artist is aware that what gives out to the world is not in line with what truly lies in his heart. But does this mean that what he depicts is not part of himself as well? Is he lying?
in a way the persona describes living through his art as well and presenting it to the world. It's a form of growth we begin with, a growth in questioning.

II. In Love

for this one theres so many to chose from but I picked boy with love because even at the persona stage
the artist still finds desire to develop and change in the love he finds in someone else. the way he loves makes him want to grow into his art even more. small things that he takes from them fill him with inspiration and his fear is to distance himself from the one he loves
"flying high up in that sky, with the two wings that you gave me back then now it’s too high up here i’d like to have my eyes meet you" his growth in success and into his art made him distance himself from the love he had and that makes him aware, hanging on to that love is
his way of growing beautifully, just like he flew up in the sky thanks to it.

III. Growth In Beauty

In a way, bts are masters at depecting how beauty makes us completely unique and how in this true individuality we can develop and become something great
and I think mikrokosmos depicts that for the artist the best. he realizes hes part of a constellation that he can move as well, carrying a history as well as others who share their art around him "In one person, there is one history in one person, there is one star" due to our
light we carry as humans we shine, dream smile and find motivation to realize were special, were worth something more.

IV. Growth in Revelry

Growth means change. In Dionysus the artist finds himself at his most successful, his most artistically inspired when he loses himself
In his art. "I’m at the door of the world now the loud cheers I hear as I step onto the stage It's only now that I am born again" realizing he can be born again, get overtaken and GROW INTO HIS ART the more he gets lost in it, like a haze where the song feels loud, strong
and like a driving force. even this constant addiction to the art is a way for artist to grow into himself, his art and him become one, he cannot see himself without it and it makes it come close to insanity. It does feel like a destructive force
where the artist gets drunk on their art suffering to harvest the fruits of their craft, destroying themselves in the process "there is never a sound that comes out in just one breath". In some way this kind of growth, realizing what makes you be and what drives you is essential
V. In Loss and Pain

Of course we cannot speak about dionysus without hanging black swan right behind it as the ultimate hangover after the drunken revelry of the song (aka the night) before. Even if black swan describes loss of passion and just utter helplessness which doesnt
necessarily sound "growing" this song is a necessity in growth. the pain in black swan that bangtan describe is used as a form of entertainment and showing if your art bc of them saying "film it now film it now" even the pain is something to be consumed by others and they can
develop in. the pain they share, by sharing it is a way of giving it out to the world and using it as a method to find that passion that was lost again. it's actually incredible bc at that state the artist is pretty much without remedy, he feels lost and he uses every resource
black swan is a perfect song to explain how the argist after having been taken over by the shadow uses that darkness to rise up again "I’d rather go on my own feet i’ll jump into it, at the deepest, isaw myself" hes taking on the road on his own to see himself, his darkest fears
VI. Growth in Passion

Obsviouly the whole mots road is very passionate for the artist but I think my favorite song to depict this relief the artist feels is louder than bombs. theres one example I want to take on. We start the song with "Your silent sorrowshakes me
In the quiet
sea of mine, waves rise from time to time" the artist describing in his state of shadow the feeling of isolation, loneliness and hurt. Throughout the song the artist realizes that what he wants to do is live in his art no matter what others indulge him with, his desire is to sing
"I will say in front of the world the times when I looked away from you, the days when I kept running away — they will no longer exist" this realization he has, this way of changing his motives, not caring what the world says but only caring for the love he shares with the one
who listens to his voice, prioritizing that love above anything else and promising to sing eternally for them, that's true growth in passion, that's growth in your art and that's how the artist overcomes his shadow at last to move to ON

VII. In Perseverance

I named ON before
especially when it came to perseverance and resilience. After the artist finds his passion again his desire to fight for it & fight for the right to live through it becomes strong. The winds that are supposed to hold him back he will USE them for his advantage & soar even higher
mend the shadow through my path so it doesnt feel like its holding me back but that I'm guiding it it's a natural change that an artist has it's a survival which also very well connects to the death in black swan I truly love this parallel, in black swan we sink & in ON we float
these aspects are true growth in freedom and I think ON is the perfect example for freedom and love for oneself and your craft so much that you want to fight for it, it's a release and a burden that the artist loves to carry
VIII. Growth in Success and the Past

I think for this category we are bulletproof eternal I truly the perfect example for this one. "Bad memories, many trials, we bravely blocked them all" all thing we went through all seven springs we witnessed and the 7 winters
that came before them all these are part of my road, the artist at the end of his path realizes how meaningful his trials and errors have been, how his community those who see his art and love it are the ones he needs to keep the closest
it's also growth in togetherness, growth in community and love all these aspects are what makes wab so sad but yet so motivational. When the artist realizes there is no other way he can live but this one, with all the success in himself he found, that's the true map of the soul
IX. Growth in Youth

I think for it's very obvious how inner child truly resonates with this one. The artist goes back to his origin and how he used to think and feel in order to find how he changed and even SEE his growth for himself
from „Back then, we suffered a lot, looking up to the starts of that sky far, far away.” to “The you of back then did not believe in the galaxy, but, I happened to have seen, (the silver) galaxy.” the artist revisits himself and realized how much he lacked in knowledge but also
in self fulfillment and love, he didnt have the hope he carries now but now that he saw his hope soar his success rise in his art his hopelessness slowly sinks into happiness and love for himself. Inner child carries such a purity that the youth is defining for the
Artist in the sense that back then that's when he set his road to become one with his and to define his soul through it
X. Growth in Fear and Desperation

I think this topic us very complex but theres two songs that come on mind for me in this category: Shadow and Jamais Vu. Let's start with jamais vu. In the song the main artist asks for a remedy, he asks to go back to a relationship
whether with his art or with someone else (since were in the stage of persona) that he never truly had, something he imagined himself in that never happened but is convinced he was part of. In the song the artist asks to be saved, for a remedy to lessen his pain and in
that fear of being left alone he realizes what is happening to him. Fear drives him to ask for help and to be saved but it also makes him stand his ground and say "I run again and fall again even if this repeats countlessly, I’ll run again" he understands that he does
not want to let this mirage he has go but he has to deal with this "real world". In a sense jamais vu in the "persona" world is a huge slap in the face. It makes us realize that the game we played never existed and that we need to grow from it in order to find ourselves
However in shadow, I think the true part of growth is the facing of the shadow rather than overcoming it. also the end of his shadow speaking to him, it wasnt his own realization for me,I interpreted as his shadow whispering this constantly to him as if he couldnt get rid of him
it's not a natural bonding like the one your soul should have with the shadow but a glued one. Where the shadow seems stronger and more let loose l. In the map of the soul series an equilibrium between all three make you attain the point of ego and believing in yourself as an
artist. But shadow sounded haunting as if you didnt want it so near you. It was perfect "we’re one body and we’ll crash. we’re you and we’re me, do you get it?" Although this sentence in the jungian physiology is right it still seems like "crashing" means I'll pull you under with
me. However yoongi or the artist still faces his shadow even tho in this sense hes much stronger his fear is what drives him to ask himself is this what I want? His desperation is what makes him repeat his motivation "rapstar, rich, king"
this facing of the shadow even tho he does not win "YET" since he does overcome it in on, this facing is a form of bravery and this growth
theres so many more but I hope this could give you an insight on how in depth mots actually is when it comes to artistic growth everything plays a role in the artists developement even in home and tranquility as well as chaos and revelry
