— chip abandoned at a young age looked for a purpose in his life. the town he lived in was always a midway point for a pirates passing through. he thought very highly of these pirates, he wanted to sail the seas and collect treasure....

he wanted to find a family of his own

— the thing about these pirates that they ALWAYS came in pairs. not a single on of them without a companion whether it be animal or human.

they always had someone.

that’s the thing chip envied the most. he would say it was the gold but he knew deep down that he just

— /wanted/ someone by his side.

flash forward a few months, a new pirate ship had pulled up. a big deal apparently.

The Black Rose Pirates

chip thought the name was awesome and the ship was not something to laugh at.

he HAD to be on this ship.

— chip peeked through the crowd that formed when the pirates had lowered their anchor in the docks. chip stared with starry eyes at the crew as the walked down the boat.

one after the other he saw strong, capable pirates. but there was one especially that caught his eye

— A large human, carried a great axe on his back wave tattoos across his body. He was currently laughing with another pirate.

chip stared at him wide eyed he HAD to talk to him..and maybe see if he could hold that BADASS axe

— chip followed the crew while the walked around the town he saw them drink, spar and be merry. chip smiled to himself.

that looked like a lot of fun.

chip made it clear to himself that he NEEDED to be on this ship. this was his purpose.

— “I was to be the strongest on the CHIP!”

“...On the chip..?”

tears started to well in his eyes. he admired arlin more then any pirate he’s seen. he’s even given him a name. as he was lifted up onto arlins shoulders he looked up and smiled.

he would never forget this.
