Liverpool dropping points late from winning positions (thread)
Brighton (A): Pascal Groß 90+3’-unfortunate var decision but still 2 points dropped
West Brom (H): Semi Ajayi 82’- 2 points dropped after dominating the game
Leicester (A): Maddison 78’, Vardy 81’, Barnes 85’- total collapse after leading with 12 mins to go. 3 points dropped
Leeds (A): Diego Llorente 87’- overshadowed by ESL drama but another case of not being able to see the game out and 2 points dropped
Newcastle (H): Joe Willock 90+5’- 2 points dropped after missing over 20 chances and wasting a var lifeline
Thought I’d mention this one as well (Henderson goal disallowed 90+2’). Not our fault but 2 valuable points taken from us late in the game
Up to 13 points there which we could have had. We’re not expecting to win all of these games, but to throw away so many points late from winning positions is unusual, especially from a Liverpool side that was lauded for its mentality last season. (End of thread)
