Very uncomfortable, jittery and anxious. I was trembling and it was hard to breathe. My head was filled with unpleasant thoughts. I wasn’t able to say anything besides my greetings. So after that
I tried to excuse myself and explained to my friend about my situation. Guess what. She called me “Maarte”. Imagine being tormented by fear and facing it alone, then someone tells u it’s nothing “serious”. Mental health problems are no joke.
We never chose this hellish path. We’re not pretending. We don’t want your unnecessary attention. WE WANT YOU TO UNDERSTAND. Simply understanding is enough. Being able to speak up and being able to be heard is truly something worth being done.
