My long winded Arsenal Transfer thread, likes & RTs appreciated.
In this thread I will be covering names which I believe are good solutions to suite Arsenalā€™s priority positions, giving at least 2 options for each.

I will be ranking each option in tiers of:
- Realistic
- Unrealistic
- CL Dependent

And ranking each player on importance /10.
Arsenalā€™s starting priority positions IMO:
- RB, DM/B2B, 8/10, ST

Other positions briefly covered:
- GK, CB.. no backup covered here.
Position Number 1 - RB.

Option 1 - Hakimi (unrealistic)

The Inter wingback has had another brilliant season, showcasing why the hype is justified. The Moroccan is really good on the ball, a great crosser, a brilliant attacker generally supplemented by his 11 G/A this season.
The main issue many have with Hakimi is his defensive frailties, but the usual position occupied by Arsenal fullbacks is high up, with a lot of freedom as Xhaka had dropped as a LCB. Offensive abilities being the most important in Artetaā€™s system.
Arteta likes to overload the flanks, and particularly at Dortmund Hakimi showcased his ability to do so with his formidable connection with Sancho on the right.

In a very small RB pool, Hakimi will be hard to obtain but would take Arsenal up another level.

Importance: 10/10
RB option 2 - Mazraoui:
(Realistic)

Another Moroccan, who this time is far more attainable. Very young similar to Hakimi, he will only improve. The Ajax man provides more of a balanced outlet, being a great tackler and better defensively - but also very good on the ball.
In Artetaā€™s system, fullbacks being good in the ball is essential - to retain possession, build attacks which instantly makes him suited. He is also versatile, playing as a DM and midfielder before - which is useful.
His contract expires in 2022, meaning he is a realistic target in a really small market, which could be a bargain. 20-25m could be a realistic price, for someone with a lot of talent and provides a more balanced outlet.

Importance: 7/10.
Position number 2, DM/B2B:

Option 1:

Soumare.
(Realistic)

The Lille midfielder has been a hot topic ever since he fell out of favour last year. Often compared to Paul Pogba, he is powerful, strong, good engine, good on the ball - particularly in tight spaces.
He has had interest from Chelsea & United previously and for a reason. He is the perfect modern day midfielder - coming in at 15-20m or so, heā€™s a steal who is low risk. His profile is perfect and would provide great competition, starter material.

Importance: 8/10.
Option 2:

Tyler Adams.
(Realistic)

The American 6 has a brilliant future ahead.

His standout attributes are being fearless, staying composed, a good passer and very good defensively.

He plays in a very aggressive fashion, but also knows when to wait it out.
He is an engine, has a great workrate and is an all round great option. How attainable and price? Not too sure, as his contact expires in 2025.

He himself has said he likes to get ā€˜stuck inā€™ and ā€˜breakup playā€™ which are very important attributes.
He is a great passer - backed up by his 86% pass accuracy and all round fills a gap which Arsenal massively have at the absence of Xhaka. He would allow for more rotation and better squad depth.

Only 22, he will only improve and would be a great signing.

Importance: 6/10.
Honourable mentions:

Freuler (Atalanta), Renato Sanches (Lille), Haidara (Leipzig), Neuhaus (Gladbach).
8/10:
Option 1:
Houssem Aouar
(CL reliant)

The Lyon maestro is a delight to watch.

A brilliant ball carrier, ball retainer, dribbler, passer as his standout attributes, but an all round great player who has been spoken about before hand.
A hard to attain player without CL and will cost somewhere from 40-50m like last summer - where Arsenal couldnā€™t get the deal over the line.

His G/A donā€™t tell the full story, as heā€™ll be a player whoā€™s so good for buildup, linkup & offers the 433 option.

Importance: 7.5/10.
Option 2:
Rodrigo De Paul.
(Realistic)

The Udinese midfielder is a great attacking outlet, contributing 13 G/A this season for a lesser side.

He would perfectly suite the 433 we plan for or 4231, is good on the ball, goalscorer, passing and very technical.

Importance - 7.5/10.
ST:
Option 1: Bamford.
(Realistic)
The Leeds man has been exceptional this year.

The workrate, linkup, passing, movement, intelligence & most importantly end product make Bamford so good.

21 G/A showcases this. With 2 years left, heā€™s low risk & cheapish.

Importance - 8/10.
Option 2 - Weghorst.
(Realistic)

The Dutchman has been a revelation for Wolfsburg. Just hitting 20 goals but offering far more.

A great target man, link up player - with 7 assists, being a fundamental part of Wolfsburgā€™s CL hopes.

Getting the numbers Arsenal have lacked.
A profile Arsenal lack big time and a more experienced player, he really never gets the credit he deserves.

A great alternative.

Importance - 8/10.

Honourable mentions:

Andre Silva.

The Portuguese has been phenomenal for Frankfurt, with 28 G/A in 28 games.
At only 25, he is a great option for any club and has really proven many wrong on how good he is.

A great finisher and header of the ball, a good linkup player and an all round great shout to replace Lacazette.
Honourable mentions for other positions:

Mike Maignan.

He will be tough to get, but would be a brilliant signing if Leno was to leave. A decisive part of Lilleā€™s title charge, being great with his feet, a good penalty saver and an all round great shot stopper.
Cristian Romero -

The young Argentine from Atalanta has been brilliant and it feels a big move is pending.

He is aggressive but relatively composed, a great tackler and is a huge talent.

He is sometimes too rash however that is normal for his age.

A great future idea.
