this was super upsetting i’m 14 yet i’ve had to deal with racism constantly in my life when i first called this person out all of their friends started dogpiling on me they all were making jokes and hee hee hahaing at me calling them out for racism (putting this here)
i spent what 30 45 minutes of my life trying desperately for them to understand why they were wrong they were using aave constantly against me despite me CONSTANTLY saying it was racist i was approaching them with a real issue and they laughed and mocked me
i was literally alone while they were all laughing at me and it was unbearably annoying trying to get them to understand!! i’m not gone talk abt aave and appropriation here i linked an article earlier but no matter what i did they brushed it off
DESPITE ME TELLING THEM ITS RACIST they continued to mock me in my face UNTIL they’re very own mutual started talking
THEN and ONLY THEN did they start to listen “OHHH” “HUHHH FUCK” are there responses to being called out by TWO black people, i hope y’all understand why this made me furious THEIR MUTUAL REPEATED WHAT I JUST SAID AAND ALL OF A SUDDEN IT WAS VALID
