First Avatara - Matsya - Lord who saved humans and other creatures from Pralaya at the end of last Kalpa by taking them on a ship to ensure the continuity of life form on earth to see beginning of Kritayuga in this Manvantara. Biblical story of Noah's Arc is inspired from here.

Second Avatara - Koorma. The Lord who saved Vindhya mountain from submerging in to ocean during Samudra Manthana. Notice Vaishnava signs Shankha and Chakra in previous image as well as this one.

Third One - Varaha - depicted with Bhoodevi. The Lord who saved Bhoomi from Asura Hiranyaksha.

Fourth one - Narasimha. The destroyer of Hiranya Kashipu and protector of Prahlada. Half Lion.

Fifth one - Vamana Trivikrama. The Lord who broke the arrogance /ego of Bali and granted him Indra pada in next Manvantara.

Parashurama / Bhargavarama the sixth one. Son of Jamadagni and Renuka. Chiranjeevi and he appears in all the subsequent Avataras for a particular reason. He will be the Guru of Kalki - the last Avatara.

Shri Rama the seventh Avatara and Balarama (son if Rohini and brother of Krishna ) the eighth one depicted in one frame. The reason of depicting them one frame - I will come to that later at the end of this thread.
