1. For not anticipating the current crisis and sending out the wrong message internationally that India had defeated Covid- remember January 29th Davos forum speech by PM, repeated in parliament

2. Lack of awareness about the crisis, apparent from the scheduling of international visits, outgoing and incoming, all of which had to be cancelled. ( Portugal, France, Rwanda President, Danish PM, Japan PM etc)

3. For not building hospital capacity, pharma and oxygen through imports, while continuing to export necessities

Vaccine Maitri programme that continued till April 16, and shipped abroad the equivalent of one months vaccination doses for Indians.

NB: A clear exception is the vaccine shipments to India's South Asian neighbourhood, any Covid crisis in neighbouring countries impacts us all in the region.
