here's an unorganized and unplanned thread with a bunch of things that annoy me about rental listings these days
oversaturated HDR-mode-overload photos are less popular than they were in like 2012 but they could stand to be abolished.
fish-eye lens fools no one. the other lens probably does, the one that just makes depth incredibly loooong, but then you have to frame stuff properly...these photos have fridges on the edge of the photo that look like they're 3 meters wide
why are there so many (and I mean SO MANY) rentals boasting washer-dryer hookups without the appliances themselves? I am not hauling around my own washer and dryer from rental to rental.
try to stage the rooms a little bit. I am not motivated by a bedroom photo that looks like my own cluttered house but with worse lighting.
take photos with natural light. all these nighttime shots of rooms lit by overhead boob lights are depressing
please abnormalize apartment complexes that lead with descriptions and photos of their common spaces rather than the units themselves. I do not care, especially now.
a 400 sq ft studio is not "open concept"!! please revise and resubmit.
if you still have carpet in the bathroom the rent better be negative. You should be paying monthly damages to your tenant for dealing with that
this goes out to the Austin market specifically: why is every single room in your house painted a different BRIGHT rainbow color? Why is this so SO common? (along with BYOlaundrymachines, just plz)
It is very VERY suspicious when you've provided photos but they're not representative of every room. Several units popped up with about 15 photos of just the floors. We get it, it's not carpet, but now I assume you have water damage stains on your ceilings.
