2 weeks into private beta with @corecircle, here’s a thread of what I’ve done so far:

1. Created a Slack chat for roughly ~250 fitness enthusiasts where I ask them questions, design feedback, etc. I did this 1 month before we went into beta testing.

2. Got ~25 committed beta testers who I do weekly calls with, get in-depth feedback and more in exchange for an Amazon gift card.

3. Created cohorts of users who dropped off on Mixpanel and personally messaged them to ask “why” they did so.

4. Created cohorts of our daily users and asked why they like about the app and what we can do better.

5. Analyzed what individual users do in the app. What they click on, etc. Mixpanel is the BEST for this! 100x better than Google Analytics IMO

6. I’m keeping a list of every idea that the users tell me about and intuitively pick the one that’s most important for our roadmap.
