Let’s pretend for just a moment that the breathtaking lie being put forth by @LusherMiddle spokesperson @cheronbrylski on behalf of Kathy Riedlinger was actually true and there was not a single formal complaint made by a student or parent about Blake Bailey’s behavior. (1/X)

The fact remains that this man spent nearly a decade saying & writing inappropriate sexually provocative things to female students; regularly violating students’ personal space in plain view of other teachers & administrators (many of whom still work at @LusherMiddle); (2/X)

and, on the flip side, routinely verbally berating students in screaming cruel expletive laden personal takedowns of their intelligence and academic ability until they were reduced to tears. Even if there were no official complaints, where was the institutional oversight? (3/X)

How did his deeply unprofessional, disgusting, abusive behavior go unnoticed by his supervisors? Surely he was subject to observations. These behaviors were not hidden. How is it possible that the administration allowed this to continue? (4/X)

While Lusher Charter may no longer be the same “organization” as Lusher Magnet, many of the same people are in positions of power including the chief executive. What has changed in her oversight since Blake Bailey was given free reign to terrorize and groom students? (5/X)

How can we know for certain that other potential predators have not gone undetected in the same way Blake Bailey did - despite never hiding it! - under the unseeing eye and apparently unreliable memory of Kathy Riedlinger?(6/X)
