So boom, this dude picks me up. He got a BMW I8. So I’m low key impressed. Idk anything about cars. I googled it lol

We get there, conversation is flowing, we order drinks. I’m really hungry so I’m ready to order. He said he’s been there before so I ask him to suggest something.
He says he doesn’t really know what to suggest because I’m a picky eater. So I’m like I’ll just copy cat you and get whatever you get. Man’s says he’s not hungry yet. Just get whatever I want. I should’ve known something was up from then!!!
I feel mad awkward eating in front of him so I just get calamari. Play it safe. We talking having a good ass time. He buying drinks and shit.
Time to go, he pulls out a few cards, puts one down. I’m not thinking anything of the multiple cards, it seems regular.
Maybe like 15 minutes go by and the waiter is like, “we tried it twice, your card is declined” but he acted like he knew it was going to decline. I didn’t want him to feel embarrassed so I acted like I didn’t hear at first.
He pulls out the stack again, and I say “Haha, your pieces not hitting?” He’s like facts and we both laugh. Then he puts down another card and gets up and goes to the bathroom.
Now, he’s taking a lil minute in the bathroom. Idk if I’m dumb or what but I’m still not suspicious of anything. He comes back and is like we gotta go. I’m like but they ain’t bring your card back.
I KID YOU NOT! TWO COPS ROLL UP IN THERE! At this point I peep the vibes. I’m scared af.
So pretty much they say there’s suspicion of fraudulent activity and blah blah blah. I’m like I don’t know what’s up, but I can pay the bill.
What kills me is that the bill was no more than $70!!!!!
I pay the bill but they take him outside for questioning. I tell them my dad is an auxiliary officer and I’m going to call him to pick me up so they let me go. But they definitely took his ass. And I’m extra tight because we’re in Jersey fucking City!!!
