I'm a drunk and angry witch but I'm still not cursing anyone okay

so much of this "it's dangerous to mess with these faiths" stuff is rooted in racism; like when people shit talk voodoo- it's a religion just like yours, it isnt evil; you just dont understand it

I am also drunk btw so I cant write a cohesive tweet but I might talk about this more when I'm sober if anyone has some thoughts

so I dont claim to be an expert AT ALL but as far as I know voodoo is a closed practice and in reality, all the "horror stories" you hear about things going wrong are from people who have no clue what they're doing

it's the same with people who think being a witch is cool and then go around cursing people without doing research; that is NOT what our faith teaches and that's why people think it's dark and dangerous

voodoo isnt a dirty word; its literally a religion. it isn't evil, we just associate it with evil things bc that's how its depicted in media bc of (say it with me guys) R A C I S M
