Mayor Wheeler has extended the state of emergency in Portland through noon Monday. He asks members of the public to get license plates of people dressed all in black and report them to the police. "Our job is to unmask them, arrest them and prosecute them."

FYI to anyone with concerns about having your license plate reported:

- the Providence Park MAX station on the Blue and Red lines is less than half a mile from Couch Park

- the streetcar stops at 10th/11th & Glisan are about half a mile from Couch Park

Mayor Wheeler also advocated for higher bail and tougher pretrial restrictions on those arrested, as well as tougher sentences for repeat offenders.
