How To Get Client To Pay You For Your Skill Even If You're Just Starting Out And No One Has Ever Heard Of Your Name (Thread)
If you offer some kind of digital skill such as;
Facebook ads

Google ads

Copywriting

Email marketing

Lead generation

Video editing

Content creation...

Then I assume this questions always pops up in your head "How do I get clients"?
But a more appropriate question to ask is "How can I position myself so that clients can find me"?

Instead of playing the chasing game why don't you play the attraction game!
In this thread I'll be showing a simple method you can use to get clients even if you've never worked with anyone before and no one knows who your are or what you can do.

I'm talking about trying to sign clients at the lowest possible level you can find yourself
This method is called "Pay It Upfront" method and I'll break it down for you step by step. The idea behind this method is you have to understand that you're not selling a skill or a service but you're actually helping your potential clients solve a problem.
Step 1: Make a list of your dream clients. When I say "dream clients" I mean the people you actually want to work with.

Who they are doesn't matter...if you really want to work with them just get them on your list.
Step 2: Study what they currently have going for them. Now the study will vary according to the service you sell but my background is in marketing so let's say I want to work with info product sellers meaning people who sell courses...
All I have to do at this stage is study the offer they are currently promoting, how they are promoting it and try to understand their entire funnel. I'll get on their email list, go to their landing page so I can be retargeted with ads.
All I'm trying to do at this stage is to understand what they currently do and how what I offer can help them improve on what they are already doing. This now takes us to the next step...
Step 3: Look for things that can be improved or fixed and instead of just telling what needs to be fixed... take the effort in actually fixing the problem and sending it to them.

It simply means you're doing the work upfront.
Say for example I'm selling email copywriting service and when I downloaded their lead magnet there was no welcome series to follow up with me... I can simply write them a 5 part email welcome series and I'll just send it to them and be like
"Hey (Client name), I took the effort in writing you a free 5 part welcome email series that you can easily use to sell your offer to people who download your lead magnet because I downloaded your lead magnet but noticed you didn't have one setup so here it is (LINK)
Feel free to test them and if they work I'd love to know and possibly discuss about writing more emails for you"

And I'll simply send this over to the client.
What if I don't have experience?Who cares...

If the email I wrote them works... that's the experience because another name for experience is simply just results.

But only do this with clients you really want to work with so you don't waste your time with unqualified clients.
