I think at some point we need to have a discussion about the tendency of this fandom to dehumanize Taylor and to treat her more like a doll they can dress up and create stories about and force her to do what they want rather than treat her as an actual human being. The way y’all-

talk about her sometimes quite frankly disgusts me. The accounts dedicated to her body parts, the countless jokes about her sex life, the way y’all talk about her past and her work and her art and everything about her is so unhealthy and disturbing. You’ve created these accounts

dedicated to her and her career but over time you’ve come to see her more as an extension of your own wants and needs rather than as a figure you adore for who she is. You’ve so warped your relationship with her in your mind that it honestly feels like some of y’all view her like

she’s your property, like you have a claim or a right over her, or almost like she’s some fictional being you can twist and bend to your will. Do better
