If glutathione is not available but there is access to NAC (N-acetylcysteine), I assume that the effect is the same but delayed. NAC has been described to reduced CRP/ferritin in COVID patients. https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC7374140/
