in honor of the boys @NickAbraham12 @THETYFRANKEL & @linkedin_king dropping tons of free value on their mastermind yesterday, figured I& #39;d join in with some value of my own.

here& #39;s how to stick out from the crowd with your linkedin outreach

[thread]
first off, you need a unique connection request message.

prospects are flooded with the same old canned messages, and you need to differentiate yourself if you want to stand out and make the connection.

here& #39;s one that& #39;s been working well for us:
once the connection is made, it& #39;s important to treat linkedin for what it is: a social media platform.

your messaging should be conversational, casual, and open ended rather than jumping straight into a pitch.
once a prospect responds to our connection message, we& #39;ll thank them for connecting and then compliment them with a manually written first line.

takes less than a minute to do, but goes a long way.
now that some rapport has been built, we go for the ask.

rather than blatantly pitching, we do it in the form of a question.

one that works well for our offer: "do most of your leads come from referrals?"
if they reply yes, great. we ask them if it would be a "terrible idea" for a quick call to discuss our pay-per-call lead gen to supplement their referral pipeline.

if they say no, we dig deeper to see if there& #39;s a need for our services. if not, no worries.
it& #39;s not always this cut & dry. sometimes, we send upwards of 6-7 follow up messages before getting a reply.

since the name of the game is getting a response, follow up every 3-4 days with a quick message, especially if they previously showed interest.
when following up, avoid the simple "bump" messages.

instead, send them a post from their profile and compliment them on it, ask them how their week was, even ask how business is.

remember, linkedin is a social platform so talk casually.
aside from the messages themselves, there are a few simple things you can do to get responses.

- endorse their top 3 skills: this takes less than 10 seconds, but can often be the reason why a prospect gets back to you.

it will stick out to them, and will show them you care.
- follow their company page: also a 10 second task.

- shoot them an email: this has worked very well for us if the prospect isn& #39;t responsive on linkedin.
linkedin is a very powerful platform.

as the guys @NickAbraham12 @THETYFRANKEL @linkedin_king have shown, you can generate plenty of new leads for you and your clients by doing well thought-out linkedin outreach.
keep the convo casual, use short, broken-up sentences, and find unique ways of connecting & following up. you will get calls booked!
