definitely on team slow + steady progress > 'reinventing' your sound on each album.

really, really miss watching/hearing a band get better via touring. when they roll back thru your town and its just like daaaaaamn they've put in the work.

i can understand where the pressure for 'reinvention' comes from depending on circumstance but coming to really dislike that word in regards to creative progress.

there was an interesting thread on here a while back about bands who have pretty much made the same record for their entire career and honestly, i'm here for that too. aint no shame in getting really good at one thing.
