for anyone thats confused: the dragon has to do its death animation for you to get the achievement, they respawned a new one causing the game to remove the old dragon. meaning he cant get the achievement from it

the game knows theres only meant to be one dragon, you cant spawn a new one if theres a living one in the realm. dreams dragon was technically dead meaning they could spawn the new one, but it wasnt done with the animation. its a really smart move from the hunters.

this is the only way i can think of to explain what happened, i didnt even know this was possible before the video, insane move on the hunters part. ggs to them for that

regarding who won: according to manhunt rules he needs the achievement to appear in chat, so the hunters won.

update: i watched the extra scenes, according to the hunters it was placed to heal the dragon whilst it was alive. either it was the server just letting them place the crystals and then spawning a new dragon when the old one died or extremely lucky timing. the hunters won.
