Normally authors sending their own covers with their submission is an AUTOMATIC redflag - add to that the casual racism (I'm Scottish) re: the kilt means they actually did a bit of research before sending - which makes them double dumb I reckon.

Okay. We're nothing if not democratic. We'll post the suggested cover photo that accompanied the #BadSubmission if you want.

Course if we post it, I guarantee you won't believe it - that's HOW BAD it is...

95% say 'publish and be damned' - okay, you asked for it - I won't give the book title cause we don't actually want to name/shame anyone but I can honestly say I can't see any connection between the book + the cover.

Here you go people, due to OVERWHELMING public demand the cover photo suggestion that came with #BadSubmission

I can't even.

You know what, now I look at it all I am wondering if the whole thing was just very high level trolling...

Then I remind myself to NEVER underestimate just how nuts #Submissions can get.
