Some days are great on @StackOverflow
People ask questions, maybe we discuss them clarifying some points, they illustrate what they're trying to do, and we as a community can help them out.

Most importantly - they find a solution.

Today was not one of those days.

>>>
Someone posted a vague question, with completely irrelevant code. When I asked them to clarify, they insisted I understood the problem. When I asked for an example, intents, anything - they doubled down and said they provided all they could, and I could solve it.

>>>
I usually try to give every benefit of the doubt to people asking questions. Not everyone can code, or knows where to start, or has a good idea what they really need to do.

I try to get them to express that on SO.

But I can't work with nothing.

>>>
And I still feel like I've failed this person. And the Voice community.

Instead of someone learning how to create dialog and then implement it... they're left with no answers at all.

We're left with one fewer developer to build great things.

We are all left poorer for this.
