Sachin was born on 24 April 1973 to a Marathi poet named Ramesh Tendulkar and his wife.

He was firstly introduced to cricket by Late Ramakant Achrekar who was a famous cricket coach at Shivaji Park.
Sachin would practice for long time in nets. If he became exhausted, Achrekar would put a Rs 1 coin on the top of the stumps,for the bowler who dismisses Tendulkar.If Sachin passes the whole session without getting dismissed, the coach would give him the coin, he has won 13 coins
In 1987, at the age of 14, he attended the MRF Pace Foundation in Madras (now Chennai) to train as a fast bowler, but the Australian fast bowler Dennis Lillee, who took a world record 355 Test wickets, was unimpressed, suggesting that Tendulkar focus on his batting instead.
On 20 January 1987, he also turned out as substitute for Imran Khan's side in an exhibition game at Brabourne Stadium in Bombay, to mark the golden jubilee of Cricket Club of India.A couple of months later, former Indian batsman Sunil Gavaskar gave him a pair of his own pads
Sachin was involved in an unbroken 664-run partnership in a Lord Harris Shield inter-school game against St. Xavier's High School in 1988 with his friend and teammate Vinod Kambli, who would also go on to represent India.
Sachin made hundreds in his debut Ranji Trophy Game, Deodhar Trophy game and Duleep Trophy game. A feet unmatched for many years.
Sachin made his Test debut against Pakistan in Karachi in November 1989 aged 16 years and 205 days. He made 15 runs, being bowled by Waqar Younis, who also made his debut in that match, but was noted for how he handled numerous blows to his body at the hands of the Pakistan.
In the fourth Test,he was hit on the nose by a bouncer bowled by Younis, but he declined medical assistance and continued to bat even as he gushed blood from it.

Tendulkar made 53 runs off 18 balls, This wascalled "one of the best innings I have seen" by then Captain Srikkanth
Sachin broke various records in the early 90s when the famous cricket magazine draw his comparisons with his idol Former Indian Captain Mr. Sunil Gavaskar.
Following his twin knocks against Australia at Sharjah in 1998, greatest leg spinner Shane Warne said that he was having nightmares about his Indian nemesis.
Tendulkar got that stop start captaincy in between where he lead India in 25 Tests and 73 One dayers.

After Test series defeat by a 0–2 margin at home against South Africa, Tendulkar resigned, and Sourav Ganguly took over as captain in 2000.
Sachin continued performing well in Test cricket in 2001 and 2002, with some pivotal performances with both bat and ball.

In this period, in the third Test match against England in 2002, Sachin scored his 30th Test century to surpass Bradman's haul, in his 99th Test match
Tendulkar made 673 runs in 11 matches in the 2003 Cricket World Cup,helping India reach the final. While Australia retained the trophy that they had won in 1999, Tendulkar was given the Man of the Tournament award.

His best performance in a world cup as a batsman.
Between 2003-2007,

Sachin went through a bit of decline. Injuries began effecting his career.

The 2007 world cup early exit and differences between coach and players were some low points during this phase.

However Sachin returned to his best post that. He crossed 15,000 runs mark in ODIs soon while playing against South Africa in 2007 and 11,000 test runs soon after that on second day of Nottingham Test.

He scored his 38th Test crntury in 2008 against Australia at SCG.
Sachin has 22 Test centuries in India and 29 overseas.

He returned to fitness and form, scoring 13 and 49 in the first Test before making 88 in the first innings of the second Test, breaking the record for most Test runs held by Brian Lara. He also reached the 12,000-run mark.
Sachin went through making valuable contributions for his team till 2011 world cup winning several man of the matches and series in this process.

He ended his career with 72 Test victories and 234 ODI victories as a player.
At 2011 World Cup. Sachin amassed 482 runs at an average of 53.55 including two 💯 , was India's leading run-scorer for the tournament.India defeated Sri Lanka in the final.

At last Sachin made his 100th international century against Bangladesh at Mirpur.

On 10 October 2013 Tendulkar announced that he would retire from all cricket formats after two tests against West Indies.

He played his last game at his home, Mumbai falling short of 79 runs to 16000 test runs.
With his bowling, he helped secure an Indian victory on more than one occasion.He took 201 international wickets—46 in Tests, 154 in ODIs where he is India's twelfth-highest wicket taker, and one wicket in Twenty20.
Sachin Tendulkar is the leading run scorer in Tests, with 15,921 runs, as well as in One-Day Internationals, with 18,426 runs.He is the only player to score more than 30,000 runs in all forms of international cricket.

He is highest run scorer in 50 overs world cup too.

Such was his career, that it's impossible to cover everything. He represented Mumbai Indians (2008-2013) in IPL too.
