It is the blessed day of Jumu’ah in the blessed month of Ramadan.
The best day of the week in the best month!

Abu Hurairah رضي الله عنه reported that the Prophet ﷺ said: “The best day on which the sun has risen is Friday; on it Adam عليه السلام was created and on it he was made to enter Paradise. On Friday, also, Adam عليه السلام was expelled from Paradise.

And the [last] hour (i.e. the Day of Resurrection) will take place on no day other than Friday.” [Muslim]

Friday is the balance of the week. Ramadan is the balance of the year.
And Hajj is the balance of life.

We seek refuge in Allah ﷻ and ask for protection from COVID-19 and all illnesses. May Allah ﷻ cure this world of the global pandemic of the coronavirus, and keep the doors of our masjids open, اللهم أمين

May Allah ﷻ hide our faults, forgive our sins, save us from the punishment of the dunya & akhirah, fulfill our needs, remove our difficulties, guide us, protect us, strengthen our Imaan, keep us steadfast & accept our Du’ās and ‘Ibādah on this blessed day of Jumu’ah, اللهم آمين

Jumu’ah Checklist:
• Take Ghusl bath [Bukhari 877]
• Dress in your finest clothes [Abu Dawood]
• Wear perfume (ittar) - for men only, not permissible for women in public [Ibn Majah]
• Use miswak
• Clip nails
• Recite Surah Al-Kahf

• Recite Durood abundantly and send prayers and salutations upon the best of creation, Prophet Muhammad ﷺ
• Make abundant Du’ā to Allah ﷻ especially during the last hour before Maghrib (sunset)

The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: “There is an hour on Friday and if a Muslim gets it while praying and asks Allah ﷻ then Allah ﷻ will definitely meet his command.”

[Sahih Bukhari, Hadith: 935 and Sahih Muslim, Hadith: 1970]

Sayyiduna ‘Abdullah ibn Salam رضي الله عنه has reported that this moment exists after ‘Asr salah till sunset.

[Sunan Tirmidhi, Hadith: 491, declared authentic (Hasan Sahih) by Imam Tirmidhi رَحِمَهُ ٱللّٰهُ]
