My executive dysfunction shower access hack involves recruiting a trusted loved one to "body double" or just keep me company while I bathe
Because somehow this tends to avoid the "starting tasks is too hard" part of my brain
But this also requires a lot of access intimacy

The other thing that helps me when my brain has been the primary thing making showering difficult
Is to tell myself that I don& #39;t actually have to do anything in the shower, I can just stand/sit there if that& #39;s all I& #39;ve got that day
Sometimes it& #39;s easier once I& #39;ve started

Also like I said, I& #39;ve gotten pretty good at just washing with a damp washcloth and soap or wipes or whatever
Especially when I& #39;m just too tired to actually shower
