HOW TO SPOT SCAMMERS, a thread:
-No proofs of winners receiving prizes, and winners being announced properly. If they are never given, it's likely a scam. If @'s are blocked out, multiple proofs are needed. Stuff onhand isn't enough.
-Holding a lot of big giveaways in little time
-Claiming to give away "xxx albums or merch of choice!!)
-Never responding to questions or DMs about people's doubts
-Not having many tweets before starting to hold their current GAs (previous scam giveaways may have been deleted)
-Constantly painting themselves to be a victim of attacks (often for very small or silly reasons...yes this is aimed at asymmetrical face girl)
-Check pictures if they look too good. Look for others' watermarks or do a google search by image to see if it's stolen from someone
-Block people if you find out they're scammers....they often change their twitter handles later or come back looking different, but the block still remembers :)
-Only tweeting about themselves, giveaways and "who's active?", not ever about BTS or whatever group the GAs are for
-If winners that are announced don't look real, if they only tweeted a few times, are always very recent or have little to no followers. You can always check by looking at the password change numbers/emails of both accounts.
-Or just come to me if you're ever sus of someone lol!
NOTE: any one of these reasons does not guarantee that the host is a scammer! These are just indicators of what scammers may do, and you should be wary if more of these are met.
