i was working in a pet store and a big lady came in, fae were looking for a collar for her new pet
fae were scowering all through the store trying to decide but no matter what one she looked at it wasnt quite right

fae came up to me and asked me to help faer decide by trying on the collars me
i should have been freaked out by such a request but i just felt so docile and agreeable and open compared to my usual self and couldnt feel anything but happy to say yes and help

we were scowering the store trying every single one on untill she finally settled, it was a thick sturdy purple collar with lots of attatchment points for chains, bells, tags, and many other accessories we were told to sell
but i didnt recognise it

the collar didnt look like any other one we had in stock
putting it on felt different to all the other ones too, it felt natural, like it belonged on me speficially
fae told me that it was perfect for faer new pet
