When he's on it, he's an elite goalkeeper, but I do feel he's often immune to a lot of criticism on here. His poor season has only been called out recently and he can be slow to get down/his distribution needs works.
Expect more, but we know his quality.

I'm not even going to justify this with an explanation. Terrible goalkeeper and I'll rejoice when his contract expires this summer.

Caoimhin Kelleher:
Didn't really rate him prior to this season, but he's done well when called upon and proved to be a much better deputy than Adrian.
That save to deny Huntelaar was was great. Think he'd benefit more from a loan and regular football.

Trent Alexander-Arnold:
His first-half of the season was underwhelming, but since the Southampton game in January, he's bounced back superbly.
Noticeable improvements to his defending this season too. He remains the best RB in the world.
VERDICT: Keep

Neco Williams:
Too slow, not good enough defensively and the gulf between him and Trent is far too big.
I would say he'd benefit from a loan, but again, don't think he'll ever be good enough.

Virgil Van Dijk:
There aren't enough superlatives to describe how good this man is. Has all the attributes needed and makes everything just look so easy.
Undoubtedly the best defender I've seen in my lifetime and cannot wait to see him back on the pitch.

Underappreciated by so many people on here. The fact Virgil rates him so highly speaks volumes and he's an elite level athlete.
Perhaps a bit more consistency and room to improve aerially, but as a long-term partner to VVD, there aren't many better.

Joel Matip:
This is a tough one as talent-wise, Matip is one of the best CBs we've had this past decade, but he just cannot be relied on from a fitness perspective.
I'd be tempted to keep him around, but it's probably better to bring in someone reliable.
VERDICT: Sell
