India is demonstrating to the whole world what happens when you decide to make an essential vaccine a pay to play scheme

Even the USA, the country that is willing to throw itself off cliffs the moment someone declares that capitalism is feeling hurt is giving the vaccine to all residents for free but the geniuses running India decided they'd abdicate all responsibility and charge for it.

The Indian govt literally told the citizens of India "fuck off we are campaigning in an election ignore corona and make sure you vote for us btw if you want vaccine buy it on market yourself" and there's actually ghouls out here defending this.

FYI for days and days while infection & death tolls were accelerating the national govt didnt care a whit but the moment they started getting negative press in the west they're NOW talking about responding. Our leadership cares more about editorials abroad than citizens here
