i want to say that i really enjoyed the show and ABSOLUTELY agree with critic scores. HOWEVER i had some tiny problems as a fan and also a viewer generally that i want to throw out into the void because i have nowhere else to put my thoughts (SPOILERS AHEAD BTW!!)

1. the pacing was.... not great at times (which i do think is normal since they are combining different stories). in some episodes it seemed like we were jumping from plot to plot without establishing context which led even ME as a book fan to be confused.

2. helnik (sry besties look away). definitely loved their dynamic a lot but their relationship felt WAYYYY too rushed in the context of other ships which sucks because i wish that they were given more time to really sell the audience on it.

3. as a FAN, one thing i really did not like was the scar change. i also disliked how they took out the grisha test that both mal and alina had to take because it really was important in understanding both of their powers? idk though tbh i move on

4. darkling flashback had SO MUCH POTENTIAL but it seemed to fall really flat for me :-( i wish it was put in next season instead of this one because it felt out of place and would've been better if again, IT HAD MORE TIME!!
