Okay not surprised by these results.

Full photoperiod: when growing cannabis, after the seedling stage comes the vegetative (growing) stage where root networks are established and leaves grow. Outside this would happen in the early summer. https://twitter.com/calyxtrichomes/status/1385223413543878661
Indoor growers are trying to mimic the sunshine and keep lights on for a minimum of 16 hours (but more likely 18-20). In veg plants can technically be left under 24 hours of light (but it’s sorta a waste).
Veg cycles can take usually anywhere from 8-12 weeks, but plants can be kept in this state for an indefinite time. Rumour has it the original White Widow cut is still in a basement in Europe from the ‘90s. If you kept a mother to clip clones, you would clone now.
Flowering starts outside when the daylight hours start to shorten (July and August). Indoor growers would trigger flowering by shortening light hours to 12 light, 12 dark.
The flowering period starts and lasts for 6-12 weeks. Most are 8-9, with some more equatorial varieties needing 12-14 weeks of flowering. Varieties that are indigenous to places with a lot of sunshine usually needs more time. Its like why we can’t grow pineapples in Ontario.
Full photos will take several months to go from seed to harvest depending on how long you choose to veg and how long flowering is required.
Autoflower is when a regular full-photoperiod is crossed with a ruderalis variety (pioneered by a Canadian named Sasha). Ruderalis doesn’t depend on a light cycle change to flower and just AUTOMATICALLY does it with time. There is no veg state and cloning isn’t possible.
Autoflowers will go from seed to flower in 10-12 weeks. They are super quick but because they don’t have a traditional veg cycle to establish root networks, or very much time to develop they tend to be small. Sometimes the THC can come in a little lower too.
Autos are great to do alongside a full photoperiod grow because you can harvest a crop every 10 weeks. Also great for beginners who need to get comfortable with the growing stages (you clearly start seeing flowers develop in just a couple weeks)
