Your Guide to Increasing Concentration Level

You have always read, distractions reduce your concentration levels

What you don't know is the problem persists even after removing the sources of distractions

Before I start

This Thread is based on one of the practices taught by @EgoDriv in his 21 days Self Sufficiency Course.

This time lets dive deep into it and finding solutions

Note- I won't be including basic tips like meditation but I'll be mentioning the process I follow which helps me in getting shit done

With that said, let's get into it
Once you read the Thread I mentioned above,

You'll start to realize how mediums like Newspaper and Social Medias reduce your concentration

The problem always being the sudden change in your focus
The lame answer will always be to find a quite place

But how will you silence your useless thoughts,
The ones which won't let you work
Now,

For this I don't want you to start meditating or deep breathing

Cause most of you will overthink even during meditation
So what will you be doing?

Whenever you find yourself thinking instead of overthinking,

You start focusing on the thoughts that you are really having

Is it about a girl,
Is it about an outfit you wanna buy,
Is it you just thinking about how great life you can have
Once you understand the source,

You get a book,
Write down everything you were thinking about.

Why do I want you to do this?

Cause once it's out of your brain, it looses the power to disturb you

Note- Please don't go back and start reading everything
Even after doing this,

I know most of you will still overthink

(Saying from Personal Opinion)

So what do you do?

You take the action,
If it's about the girl go talk to her

I can't provide you with the guts to do it,
But Threads of @OneSupermann will surely help you
Now lets say you have gained control over the thoughts

But you can't find a quite place

There are people around trying to disturb you

One Step is to always just yell at them
Or buy membership at a Library

But what else?
You Use your headphones

Sounds Stupid right?

It isn't

Even when writing this, my Mom is shouting and telling me to eat

But doesn't matter anymore, you can't hear the chattering

Note- Don't play song with which you are gonna sing along
Now,
As I promised I'll mention the process I follow to get the work done

1) Start with Meditation

My 2 cents,
You can follow basic deep breathing

But most of you have overthinking problem so
I'll suggest you start Guided Meditations
2) Sit down with no electronic devices nearby or if you work on a PC then no useless Tabs or notification

Work till you don't feel like doing something else

It can be anywhere between 20-40 min

3) Take a small break of 5 min, drink, walk or whatever you like
4) Repeat Step 2&3 for approx 5 times

5) Finally take a big chunk of break and reward yourself
Before I leave you all,

I would like to mention a few small tips which you probably know or may not know

1) Practice reading only 1 subject at a time

2) Remove anything that requires short attention like TikTok, Insta
