The three young project participants I spoke to - Shobhita, Megan and Andrew - spoke more intelligently about the emotional and social power of music than most professionals. Chatting with them was heartwarming and inspiring and made me remember how wonderful music can be.
There was way too much for the article. We chatted about their songwriting inspirations and listening faves which was really fun! Shobhita spoke of her love for classical music and trying to approach her music in the same vein as Leonard Cohen and Bob Dylan...
