as someone who has experienced this before, i'll (try and) provide some information on what you can do to stay safe; a thread.

dont go out alone. always stay with someone. you're always at the most risk when alone.

if you are alone, please try and protect yourself as much as you can.

learn some fighting techniques, they can come in handy.

carry something around, be it a pen or something else sharp.

if it's not important, dont go out.

if you need to go out, please, please go with at least a few people.
