Ferrets are so beautiful, they're like inquisitive oily fish.
The beauty and intentionality crafted into the world is easier to miss when it's been the background radiation of your life, you may need to slow down and disconnect to fully appreciate it.
We must be loving and firm with those who stubbornly stand in the way of progress, we get further doing the harder thing and showing our vulnerability and our hurt when it isn't in the form of aggression and anger. Give them time to process. It's not only in your hands.
We must spread healing even as we know that eventually the material forces that drive humans against each other will bring their inevitable outcome again. We must be there to heal everyone along the way, and make sure it was all worth it this time.
Everyone is operating their little part in a giant unseen machine, the sad part is that for this machine to work, we must expend as fuel the broken bodies of the worlds poor, marginalized and racialized masses.
This machine was formed by those wealthy enough to idle and study and think, who have always utilized their reigns on power to keep the beleaguered masses who pay the worst cost of this system out of sight and out of mind.
We now live in a time when those people can tune in and listen. People like @TheOmniLiberal (funny name by the way, come check our my thread you loveable idiot.) sees this as the only arrangement humanity is capable of. 'Most efficiently allocates blah blah' shut up you nerd
We need to unite people in their common interests, to hop on a new machine and pedal for their lives. Something which will not doom our planet to climate destruction and inevitable mundane competition and depression wars. (No more young men giving their lives so meaninglessly.)
It's starts with you, asking yourself, what kind of person do I need to be to realize utopia. Certainly not the guy who said to everyone very loudly from his comfortable house, hey everyone, keep throwing yourself into the grinding gears, it'll get better soon I promise.
You cannot make the world a better place without healing yourself first, there is no easy way out, you need to do the hard thing, you need to tune into the song of the peoples suffering, hear their voices, allow them to really affect you, allow yourself to become softened by them
Listen closely to their song, and you and you can hear their dead imperialized ancestors, their songs of pain and forgiveness, they just want a better world for their children now.
Their warnings against the tribal brutality they endured in their time are just as relevant now in your so called enlightened liberal age now. The same callousness that could allow such behavior is still hardening the heart of men now. Surely you've seen it @TheOmniLiberal
How can you not see in yourself, a kind of sickly impulse of self preservation and self centeredness, the same kind that drove our ancestors to do "what had to be done", by which was meant, submitting to the god of growing numbers.
@TheOmniLiberal Will you not turn to your communist neighbor, and grant them their wish for your good health, for a place to call your own, I see your pain, it is the shared pain of someone who is trying to figure things out because they care deeply.
It is the pain of someone who has taken on the burdens of the world as their own, especially in this social media age, having had to have shared space with these fascist brutes which are driving us to destruction so often, it takes a toll, I see that and I appreciate that.
It's hard to know quite what to say, to someone who is so burdened as you are, as too many are in this society. It is our task to make it easier for them, to help them find their way, but that doesn't mean you aren't allowed to be hurt too.
I'm afraid this pain of yours is like a wall keeping you from making those final connections, those final realizations that you need too. To accept the burden of the communist world view, our seemingly insurmountable task, it is devastating.
@TheOmniLiberal I'm here for you, I forgive, I love you, really, if you'd soften your heart, the whole of the left is, we just want to be heard.
