I love when people take risks with the things they make and move in new or different directions and have it pay off

I just really love hearing how albums like Nurture - which feels equal parts introspective, experimental, and jubilant - can work alongside larger, more expansive projects like Worlds or smaller, more specific projects like Virtual Self to paint a picture of the person making it

Like, hearing all those disparate influences appear in different configurations across a discography, and coalesce into a really unique sound that only the person making it could make. Like a fingerprint. I love it. It's my favorite kind of thing to hear.
