The Culture of the Physiotherapy profession is shamed by persistent nepotism. A BAME physio who has been a band 6 for 13 years (denied leadership training by their managers) applied (again) for a band 7 post and has just lost out to a band 5 with 2 years experience @thecsp 1/2

Just one story like this is bad enough, but I'm hearing this same tale repeatedly from physios in the UK. It's shameful bias I'm angered at what this does to the confidence of the people this happens to. If our faces don't fit at higher bands, what does that tell us? 2/2
