Every person I've met who's made a big deal out of this was of nominally average ability in a public school system with laughably low expectations for what constitutes "gifted" and considered "burnout" needing to balance sleeping and a light party schedule in uni. https://twitter.com/thatsmymaam/status/1385146777343512579
I had to write an apology letter for getting a single B in a class I had such high marks in I was examined for cheating because I succumbed to the pressures of constant bullying. I was physically abused because I succumbed to heat exhaustion while playing baseball.
"Burnout" is a nervous breakdown because you can't quite swing an 18-hour schedule of STEM courses, two of which are labs, and suffer a nervous breakdown.

It's not "ooh, tired".

You were almost certainly a victim of a system designed to prop up shitty teachers.
