I think I've got this multipurpose #ScottMorrison announcement right:
My government is committed to staying on the path. And it's not easy. Paths are windy. Sometimes paths go into places - you don't want to go. But that's leadership. And we're following the right path for
Australia. We're following the path that leads into the future. Now, some say the future is unknown. That's where experience comes in and we're all about experience. And I know experience has it's knockers. People knock experience - and that's ok. But let me remind those
knockers that knocking didn't win wars. Didn't win hearts. And knocking never gave us a path to the future. Australians want paths. They want cement paths into the future without knockers. There's no room for knockers on the future path bus. Knockers go under the bus. Not on it.
If you on want to be on the path, get on the bus. Any questions?
Reporter: Why won't you commit to a carbon reduction target in 2030?
Morrison: I'm not here to talk about targets. Targets aren't paths. Or buses. We'll build buses. Buses to go on windy paths into the future...
