Meritocracy is sacrosanct. The outcome of sport has to ALWAYS be on sporting merit.

But also, I think the league should be null & voided as I would prefer Liverpool don't win it. Plus my team could end up in a relegation battle and I want to protect our place in the EPL.

I would also like the shitty six punished in a way that will benefit my team. But it is also good for everyone if they do that because it would balance the league more. I know most of those teams got there purely on merit and it goes against everything I said before. I'm a pratt.

In France, they cancelled football and awarded the league to PSG because it was clear to anybody with a double digit IQ they were far enough ahead that nobody would catch them.

Here rather than have a conversation about what would be the right and fair thing to do, everyone just looked out for their own self interests. Teams near the bottom wanted null and void. Teams in a battle for UCL & Promotion places wanted it to continue.

That is what the whole football structure is. Everybody looking out for themselves. Bury went bust and no longer exist in the football league. Yesterday's announcement suggests the same could happen for FC Girondins de Bordeaux. Many other teams in France probably follow them.
