Mr. @Abhina_Prakash - a Right-wing academic - made the following claims, about #AIIMS.
Let us examine these claims and ‘feather’ the truth around the sophistry displayed here.

Using a table from Wikipedia as his source, he claims former PM Dr. Manmohan Singh “will not be judged kindly” as he only established 1 AIIMS in his 10 year tenure as PM.
The obfuscation between “Announcement” with “Establishment” is of course a deliberate ploy, as we shall see.

The Vajpayee led NDA merely “announced” the establishment of the 6 AIIMS listed in the table, during Vajpayee’s last 15th August speech at Red Fort, 6 months before 2004 LS elections.
Cabinet approval for the AIIMS was only given by Dr. Manmohan Singh’s government, in 2006!

Thus, cabinet clearance for and the establishment of #AIIMS in Bhopal, Bhubaneswar, Jodhpur, Patna, Raipur, Rishikesh was executed by the Dr. Manmohan Singh led UPA government. Alongwith the AIIMS in Rae Bareli, this means he created an AIIMS at a rate of 1 every 17 months!

Now let us examine the claim of 13 ‘new’ #AIIMS, approved/established by the Modi government since 2014. Please note - by the BJP’s own admission - that while UPA “established”, the NDA merely “approved” these #AIIMS. Fairly consistent with the Jumla-style working of this Govt!

Furthermore, a CAG Report from 2018 found resonance with a report by @IndiaToday, a veritable state-affiliated mouthpiece which noted that despite announcements in 2014-2015, budgetary allocations were pending till as late as 2018, in the case of Himachal Pradesh, for example.

As usual we find that Right-wing propagandists mix lies, half-truths, incomplete facts and ambiguous details to push a line with such confidence, that a majority of our citizenry accept the “announcement” at face-value and/or do not have the time and energy to refute these lies.

At a time when our healthcare system is in a shambles, and #Covid has forced our citizens to ration and limit our use of oxygen and hospital beds are scarce, it is important to remember; our health is the responsibility of government, and they are accountable.
