Seems like Alina didn't know about her power, but imo she would have stayed with Mal even if she had known. "We were already different" is an excuse, bc both of them being Grisha was unlikely. She chose Mal over the potential of belonging to a clan, having a home. #ShadowAndBone

I hope it's better explained in the book, but from watching the show, I'm not sure why both ship groups are fighting over who should be endgame. I do get that she's isolated and getting manipulated, but Alina is too fickle. I like trust and loyalty in my ships.

I'm only talking about the show in this thread. Idc what the book characters did. From what I read, show-Mal got a image cleanup. Book-Mal sounds like a insecure, emotionally abusive "nice guy". Both book ML sound problematic. But I rather pick the self-aware one.
