I'm taking the time to experiment with NFTs on different platforms. From what I've learnt each platform has their own quirks and suits different creatives. My jump onto @hicetnunc2000 has been for a few reasons (a thread):
It uses Tezos instead of Ethereum which is way greener. https://medium.com/tqtezos/proof-of-work-vs-proof-of-stake-the-ecological-footprint-c58029faee44
It's more affordable to mint and collect compared to eth networks where you have to almost be ethereum rich to support your favourite artists.
The platform is more experimental. I feel like I can use this platform to show work that isn't as polished or my usual style.
And from what I've seen from the community is that most artists provide more open editions at a lower price point so that everyone can have a piece of your art which I think is wonderful!
Lastly, there is no rules about just sticking to one platform. You can utilise each platform differently. So join a few or choose one that suits your art.
