We’re not even done with the fight again Police Brutality, isn’t it funny how school securities that should protect the lives and properties of students on campus are now the one endangering it?

University of Ibadan Security officers (Abefele) you have questions to answer!!
Yesterday night, Charles Adebare, student of sociology department was found lying helplessly at the UI’s love garden in the middle of the night. It was later discovered that he passed out cos he hasn’t had anything to eat for the past 3 days, he was homeless too.
Abefele found him and took him to their station, the right thing to do.

Not until this morning when his departmental mates went to their station to pick him up that an officer named “John Bull” refused. He was adamant saying he won’t release the boy
until they did the “right thing”. The boy, someone that had no iota of strength in him still wrote a statement, explaining the whole issue, John Bull refused, stood his ground that he won’t still release him.

What right thing should he do again boss?
You want money abi?
When the whole matter started becoming infuriating, after the dept mates that came for him begged and begged JB, one of them picked his phone to record the whole moment. before he could record a thing, the security men rushed him and started harassing him, spoilt his wristwatch,
Seized his phone bag and car.
The injuries he sustained after they rushed him..

how is this different from what we’ve being fighting against all these years???

Even school securities??
As if that wasn’t enough, they brought food for Charles to eat, John Bull and his boys refused to allow them give the boy food. Till now, as I’m writing this thread, not even a single drop of water has entered his mouth, Neither have they released him.

Isn’t this inhumane??
It’s not that you found any incriminating content on his body, he didn’t steal anything, you don’t have a single evidence as to why you have released him yet. The students have begged you, they prostrated in mass, they respected you, not only as an officer but also as fathers,
But John Bull and his boys still chose the brutality part.

Please @SavvyRinu @mrmacaronii @AishaYesufu @humanrights1st @UnclePamilerin @YeleSowore @seyiamakinde

Come to our aid, don’t let this boy die in Abefele detention, he did nothing wrong!!!
