One more reason for the irresponsible, Anti-vaccine imbeciles to hate COVID vaccines, especially the Indian ones, is that:

The word 'Vaccine' is etymologically closed related to Sanskrit & is derived from 'proto Indo-European.'

THREAD 1/4
In 1798, Edward Jenner wrote his 'An Inquiry into the Causes and Effects of the Variolae Vaccinae,' - he described how fluids from 'cow pustules' could be used to combat Smallpox.  Vaccinae is Latin for ~'of Cows.'

So, 'Vaccine' found resonance in popular culture & stayed. 2/4
(of course there were inoculations using cow pustules that were in existence in India much, much before Jenner, Indians had treatments for smallpox from earlier times, but then... we are only talking about the 'Sacred Cow' connection to 'Vaccine' in this thread) 3/4
Etymology of the word Vaccine: Vaccinus (from/of Cow) <- Vacca (Latin) <- *waśáH (Indo-Aryan) <- woḱéh ('proto Indo-Eurpoean') (female) cow; वशा - vaśā́ (Sanskrit) Cow.
